Verification of ESG report
ESG is an abbreviation from the English combination of the words “Environmental, Social, Governance” – Environment-Social Area-Society Management, which represents areas important from the point of view of the long-term sustainability of the company (firms, companies, institutions).
ESG became known when the European Commission approved the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). The Directive introduces the obligation for companies with more than 500 employees to process a Sustainability Report (so-called ESG report) as part of the company’s annual report. The current trend is to demand ESG reports from businesses of all sizes by banking institutions, investors and large firms.
QSCert offers independent verification of the processed ESG report based on the criteria established in the QS ESG:2024 standard. You can download the standard for free here: (QS ESG)
